Rewards Points for transactions performed in the following Spend Categories:

(a) 5x Rewards Points made under the Overseas Spend Category

(b) 3x Rewards Points made under Airlines, Hotels and Travel Category

5x Rewards Points for Overseas Spend

• The Eligible Cardholders who perform any transactions at any point-of-sale or face-to-face retail purchases at any retail outlet outside of Malaysia in Foreign Currency (“Eligible Overseas Spend”) during the Campaign Period shall be eligible to receive 5 times Rewards Points (“Rewards Points”).
• For the avoidance of doubt, the following transactions are NOT considered as Eligible Overseas Spend:
  • (a) Purchases via online/internet (although the online stores could be or are based outside Malaysia and/or transactions are in foreign currencies)
  • (b) Standing instructions such as auto-billing in foreign currencies
  • (c) Transactions under the Spend Category of Airlines, Hotels and Travel Agencies Spend as defined in Section 8 below)

3x Rewards Points for Airlines, Hotels and Travel Agencies Spend 

• The Eligible Cardholders who perform any of the following transactions (within or outside of Malaysia) in local and/or foreign currencies with the following corresponding eligible Merchant Category Code (“MCC”) will receive 3 times Rewards Points (“Rewards Points”):
  • Airlines - Purchase of airline tickets directly from the Airlines; MCCs : 3000-3299, 4511
  • Hotels and Travel Agencies - Hotel Charges, Hotel bookings made via internet Hotel websites (eg. Agoda.com or booking.com) and transactions at Travel Agencies; MCCs : 3500-3999, 7011, 4722
